No less than 16,744 poor family units have gotten N20,000 each in the progressing execution of the Federal Government's National Social Investment Program in Kaduna State. 
The Federal Government is dispensing N446.5 million to 22,380 helpless families under the plan to pad the impacts of coronavirus pandemic effect in the state. 
The Head of the Cash Transfer Unit in the state, Hajiya Hauwa Abdulrazaq, made the divulgence in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Ikara Local Government Area of the state. 
Abdulrazaq said that the payment which occurred between April 7 and 15 had been finished up in eight out of the nine profiting Local Government Areas of the state. 
She clarified that the program started in the state in 2017 with around 10,000 recipients, however, extended to 22,380 recipients in the present year. Abdulrazaq recognized the profiting committees as Chikun, Birnin Gwari, Ikara, Kachia, Kauru, Kubau, Kajuru, Lere and Sanga.

"We have likewise dispensed N34.1 million to 1, 720 families in Kauru, more than N62.3 million to 3,108 recipients in Kajuru, N41.2 million to 2,053 in Kubau and N34.1 million to 1,719 recipients in Chikun.

The authority said that the activity would be closed on April 21, with the payment of N112.8 million to 5,636 defenseless family units in the Birnin Gwari board.
